#CEEDTC2018

On 22nd May 2018 (World Biodiversity Day), a number of our lab members participated in the inaugural CEED Twitter conference on environmental decisions. Twitter conferences are a new way to present research, exchange ideas and strengthen networks, while allowing equitable participation and avoiding the environmental impacts associated with travel to traditional conferences. Jonathan Rhodes, Rachel Friedman, Carla Archibald and Andres Felipe Suarez Castro presented on a range of topics including land clearing regulations, social equity in conservation, conservation on private land and associations between bird traits and environmental variables.
